Eema, A Nesting Studio

Trying to figure out what you need for a newborn is overwhelming. Even the third time around, I didn’t know where to start. It felt like so much had changed since Costa and Paolo were little babes. What was the best gear now? Were there new essentials that weren’t around when I had the first two? But, over the years, I have realized that less is more when it comes to those early months. So, I also wanted to be thoughtful about preparing, really focusing on things we would genuinely end up using. And that is where Hannah comes in.

Hannah Soboroff Shargal is the founder and designer behind Eema, an interior, and nesting studio in Los Angeles. I’ve known Hannah since she was a little girl, and she’s always had impeccable taste. A mother of 3 boys now (she has been my inspiration as I prepare for our #3!), she has a true gift for creating beautiful, simple spaces that are inviting and peaceful while still functional. The kind of spaces you will want to spend hours in with your little one. In addition to interior design, Hannah also helps parents-to-be build their registry, pack the hospital bag, stock the nursery with essentials, organize, and more. She really can help with everything. During this go-around, I was lucky enough to have Hannah build out our baby registry. As she is already such an experienced mother, she knew exactly what things would be helpful.
